Held at the Living Lab, this event brings together employers, educators, and career professionals to explore the future of green jobs and youth employment in our region.
Highlights include:

Opening Address (09:45–10:00): Andrea Wood, Assistant Director of Skills and Employment, sets the stage for a day of innovation and collaboration.

Green Skills Focus (10:00–10:45): Hear from Alex Hughes of the Green Jobs Foundation and a panel of local employers on the role of green skills in today’s and tomorrow’s workforce.

Interactive Workshops (11:00–12:30): Choose from four sessions covering green job resources for schools, the new Centre for Green Technology, ESG principles for students, and a student-led sustainability conference.

Careers Hub and Youth Guarantee Updates (13:15–14:45): Steve Walker shares the Careers Hub’s 2024–25 impact, Jack Dennis outlines the Careers and Enterprise Company’s 2025–26 priorities, and a panel discusses the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer programme.

Networking Opportunities: Enjoy refreshments and lunch to connect with local stakeholders driving sustainable change.
