This short, introductory course which will give you knowledge and understanding of teaching. It has no minimum teaching requirement and can be taken by those not in a current teaching post. It is suitable for: all new teachers and those considering teaching as a career or those who are teaching assistants, learning support or student-facing in an education sector. those who wish to share their hobby with like-minded people through delivering evening classes. those who want a stepping stone into teaching. those who just want to build some confidence to deliver presentations and training to colleagues in the workplace. The 11-week part-time qualification has an online offer so it can fit round your other commitments. Monday courses are a blend of live online and classroom-based sessions. Trainees will attend college (Cambridge Campus) on their first and final two sessions while the rest of the sessions will be delivered live via Teams. Wednesdays are face-to-face in college sessions for the whole course programme.
